Dec 14th morning, Gratia church had a morning service as usual from 7 am. The message of this morning was Mt 5:12-13 “Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness”. The preacher said, “Persecution can be a proof that we are living to follow Jesus”. Jesus lived righteously and holy before God, so people hated him and persecuted him as their sins were revealed. So as Christians, we need to put all our effort to live righteously, seeking for God’s righteousness through Jesus Christ. It is only possible when we give our lives to God and ask God’s power and spirit dwell in us. And when we lose our saltiness and light, we are no longer called as the disciple of Jesus.
After the message, when they were worshipping and praying to God, there was a visitor entering the church and prayed together. Kevin, listening to the sound of worship, his feet were going to the church strangely. He said, “I am lost, but I want to meet God with my whole heart.” He prayed and members were praying together for him.
“Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven” (Mt 5)
May God fill his heart with His everlasting love and guide his life from now.
